Correction — 6 November 2026: Removed purported verbatim internal-policy quotations and unsupported disciplinary assertions. The article now clearly attributes the report and its limits.
A June 2025 Financial Express report described a TCS associate-deployment policy involving an annual allocation requirement and limits on time without a project. The original Blooming 9 News article presented several passages as direct internal-policy quotations without providing the underlying document. Those quotations have been removed.
The external report described a 225-business-day deployment requirement. That figure is attributed to the published reporting. We removed the separate 35-day limit because the linked report does not establish it. Blooming 9 News has not independently authenticated an internal TCS policy circular or established how every exception and employment category was handled.
How to read the details
A reported allocation target does not, by itself, establish an individual employee’s contractual position or what disciplinary action will occur in a particular case. The earlier article blurred policy reporting, interpretation and predictions about job security. We have removed those predictions instead of treating them as confirmed rules.
For readers assessing workplace-policy news, an effective date, the relevant employee group, the definition of a working day and any exceptions matter. A summary cannot substitute for the actual policy and the employee’s authorised HR guidance.
This is an archived report about June 2025 coverage, not a declaration of TCS’s current policy or personal employment advice. It does not claim access to confidential documents, interviews with affected employees or evidence about outcomes under the reported policy.
