Before publication, we check names, dates, places, quotations, numbers and key claims against credible evidence. Priority is given to official documents, government or institutional sources, court records, company filings, direct interviews and established news agencies.
For contested claims, we seek corroboration and present important context rather than repeating a claim as fact. Images, videos and social-media posts are reviewed for origin, date and context before being relied upon.
If verification is incomplete, we say so clearly or withhold publication until sufficient evidence is available.
