Apple iPhone 16

Correction — 6 November 2026: Corrected the confusion between the standard and Pro processors. Removed inconsistent retailer prices, assumed exchange values and purchase endorsements.

Apple’s iPhone 16 specification uses the A18 chip. Its separate announcement for iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max identifies the A18 Pro chip. The previous article mixed the standard and Pro models under one specification and called both Pro versions A18-powered; that was inaccurate.

Apple’s Pro announcement lists 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays for the Pro and Pro Max respectively. These are different devices from the standard iPhone 16. A price or feature comparison needs to identify the exact model and storage capacity rather than move between the range’s names.

How to read the details

The old retailer-deal section also combined differing prices and an assumed trade-in valuation. An exchange value depends on the device submitted, its condition, the retailer’s checks and the offer terms. It is not a general reduction available to every purchaser, and an old sale listing is not a current price quotation.

We have removed those deal figures instead of reconstructing an offer without dated terms. A useful comparison separates the cash price, conditional bank benefit and exchange proceeds, and identifies whether each can actually be combined.

This July 2025 archive explains the model distinction; it is not a hands-on camera or battery test. Apple Intelligence features also depend on supported software, language and region. The presence of compatible hardware should not be described as every feature being available to every user.
