The SSC GD Constable Result 2025 was officially declared by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on June 17. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their scorecards by logging into the official websites—ssc.gov.in or ssc.nic.in. This outcome signifies a significant stage in the hiring process for 53,690 positions in the paramilitary forces and associated departments.
From February 4 to February 25, 2025, the SSC administered the online Computer-Based Examination (CBE) for the position of GD Constable. Candidates who have cleared this stage will proceed to the next rounds of the selection process—Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
Massive Recruitment Drive for 53,690 GD Constable Posts
In 2025, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) undertook one of its most expansive recruitment drives to date, targeting the appointment of 53,690 personnel across various central armed forces and security agencies. Sashastra Seema Bal, Secretariat Security Force, Assam Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and Sepoy positions in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are among the esteemed units where there are openings.
Out of them, the CISF had the most vacancies (16,571 postings), closely followed by the BSF (16,371 positions).

SSC GD Cut-Off 2025 and Qualification Criteria
In addition to announcing the SSC GD Constable Result 2025, the commission also released the cut-off scores by gender, category, state, and force. To decide who advances to the following round, these cutoffs are essential.
The official PDF states that over 3.94 lakh candidates will now be invited for the PET/PST round after surpassing the necessary cut-off. States, reservation categories, and applied force all affect the cut-off marks.
Each candidate’s performance on the CBE determines their final score. Two marks are awarded for each right answer, and 0.25 points are subtracted for each wrong answer.
PET/PST and Document Verification: What’s Next?
Candidates who qualified in the written test will now undergo physical tests (PET/PST), followed by a detailed medical examination and document verification. Only those who clear all these stages will be considered for final appointment in their respective departments.
The merit list for selection will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the CBT exam, along with state and category-wise allocation. This year, for the first time, the SSC conducted the CBT exam in 13 regional languages apart from English and Hindi, broadening access to candidates across India.
The official notice also mentions that the final answer keys and individual marks will be released shortly, providing further clarity on the evaluation process.
SSC GD 2025 Salary Structure and Pay Matrix
The selected candidates under the SSC GD Constable Result 2025 will receive salaries as per the 7th Pay Commission. The pay matrix for a Sepoy in NCB ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹56,900. For all other positions, the pay level is 3, offering a salary band between ₹21,700 and ₹69,100.
