The Chief Minister also called for running nursery and pre-primary schools in vacated buildings and relocating Anganwadi centers to strengthen early education.
He ordered that no child aged between 6 and 14 years should be out of school and instructed the School Management Committees to enforce the School Chalo Abhiyan rigorously. Additionally, he announced a direct benefit transfer (DBT) of ₹1,200 to parents’ accounts for students in council schools, covering uniforms, shoes, socks, stationery, and study material.
